Volunteer Supervision
Hills Bushcare currently have a number of staff supervising volunteer groups in various reserves for Parramatta City Council, and have been involved with several other Councils. Our staff have also been involved in community volunteer days including National Tree Day.
Volunteer Bushcare groups are an excellent way for the community to get involved with, and caring for their local nature reserve and the environment. Our volunteer supervisor staff are available to provide onsite practical training in best practice bush regeneration techniques, native and weed species identification, fauna observation and identification skills and information on natural processes.
Groups usually meet once a month or once a fortnight. If you are interested in joining your local reserves volunteer Bushcare group, please contact your local Council’s Bushcare Officer.
